Making the most of my summer vacation ...

My last day of work for a while was June 29, 2012 and I will likely have the month of July off while I await a new contract. Although I'd like to be earning some dollars, being laid off in the summer is not the worst time of year to be sans employment. I decided to take advantage of this little unexpected vacation by investigating all those things in New York that I've been meaning to do for years, but that I never seem to find the time to do. Maybe I'll make this a habit ... This is a, mostly pictorial, journal of my adventures. Enjoy.
